Every business has its ups and downs, and for me, one of the most unforgettable moments happened 8 years ago.

I was on the road with a Christian group, driving back after their meeting. Everything was going smoothly until suddenly — my very first van began to overheat. The engine couldn’t take it anymore, and we had to stop on the way.

In that moment, I was worried for my passengers. But luckily, I had good friends who came quickly and picked up the group so they could continue their journey safely. I stayed behind with the van, waiting for help.

What followed was not easy: it took four weeks to get spare parts, and the engine had to be completely rebuilt. At that time, it felt like a huge challenge. But looking back today, it was one of those experiences that taught me resilience, responsibility, and the importance of having a reliable network of people around me.

That old van may not have been perfect, but it was the start of everything. Even when it broke down, it showed me that no matter what happens, I must always put my customers first — and that lesson has stayed with MoriTour ever since.

Ich war mit einer christlichen Gruppe unterwegs, die von ihrem Treffen zurückreiste. Alles lief reibungslos, bis plötzlich – mein allererster Van überhitzte. Der Motor hielt nicht mehr durch, und wir mussten am Straßenrand anhalten.

In diesem Moment machte ich mir Sorgen um meine Fahrgäste. Zum Glück hatte ich gute Freunde, die schnell kamen und die Gruppe abholten, sodass sie ihre Reise sicher fortsetzen konnten. Ich blieb beim Van zurück und wartete auf Hilfe.

Was folgte, war nicht einfach: Es dauerte vier Wochen, bis die Ersatzteile kamen, und der Motor musste komplett neu aufgebaut werden. Damals war das eine große Herausforderung. Doch heute, rückblickend, war es eine Erfahrung, die mir Durchhaltevermögen, Verantwortung und die Bedeutung guter Freunde gezeigt hat.

Dieser alte Van war vielleicht nicht perfekt, aber er war der Anfang von allem. Selbst als er kaputtging, hat er mir gezeigt: Egal, was passiert – die Kunden stehen immer an erster Stelle. Diese Lektion begleitet MoriTour bis heute.
