🌏 Important Update: My Move Back to Thailand on 30th November 2025

Dear MoriTour Customers and Friends,

The last years with MoriTour have been a journey full of growth, challenges, and unforgettable trips with you, our valued customers. Today, I’d like to share an important personal update.

On 30th November 2025, I will be leaving Switzerland and moving back to Thailand permanently. From that moment on, Thailand will once again be my full-time home and the center of all MoriTour activities.

Why this change?

  • Thailand is where MoriTour was founded and where it truly belongs.
  • With tourism steadily growing, our vans are now fully booked again — a clear sign that I need to be closer to the heart of our service.
  • Being in Thailand allows me to personally guide and translate for our foreign customers, ensuring their travels are smooth, safe, and unforgettable.

What this means for you:

  • Year-round service: From December 2025 onward, MoriTour will be available not just in winter, but throughout the entire year.
  • Personal dedication: I’ll be on site, making sure every trip reflects the safety, comfort, and hospitality you’ve come to expect from MoriTour.
  • Closer to you: Whether you’re booking an airport transfer, a day trip, or a multi-week tour, I’ll be there to help make your journey special.

This is a big step for me personally, but also an exciting new chapter for MoriTour. Thailand has always been the soul of this company — and now I can finally give it my full attention again.

👉 I look forward to welcoming you to Thailand from December 2025 and sharing many more adventures together!

With gratitude,
Mori Mueller

Founder of MoriTour Thailand

  1. That is such amazing news! I am so excited to hear about Mori Mueller’s decision to move back to Thailand permanently. 🤩 This is a huge commitment and it shows how dedicated he is to his customers and his business, MoriTour Thailand. It is truly inspiring to see a founder be so hands-on and involved. This move to make Thailand the central hub for all operations is a brilliant idea, especially with the company’s vans being fully booked. Being there in person to guide and translate will make a huge difference in the customer experience, ensuring everyone has a safe and smooth trip. It’s awesome that this also means MoriTour will now be a year-round service!

The Importance of Tourism in Thailand

Tourism is such a big part of the economy in Thailand, and what Mori is doing will help it grow even more. Did you know that before the pandemic, tourism contributed almost 20% to Thailand’s GDP? That’s a huge number! (Source: Tourism in Thailand – Wikipedia). Places like Bangkok, Phuket, and Pattaya are super popular with tourists. In fact, Bangkok was once ranked as the most visited city in the world, with over 22 million visitors in 2019 alone! (Source: Thailand Tourism Statistics 2025: All You Need To Know – GoWithGuide). It’s so cool that MoriTour is helping people see this amazing country.

From Switzerland to the Land of Smiles

It must be a big change for Mori to move from Switzerland to Thailand. Switzerland is known for its beautiful mountains and lakes, and its tourism industry is also very strong. In 2024, the country saw a record 42.8 million overnight stays in hotels (Source: Swiss tourism is booming – but where are the Chinese? – SWI swissinfo.ch). But Thailand is called the “Land of Smiles” for a reason! The people are known for being warm and welcoming, and that’s something that makes a trip truly special. 🇹🇭

    Did you know that?

    • Thailand was never colonized by a European country! Its name, “Prathet Thai,” means “Land of the Free.” 🤯
    • The ceremonial name for Bangkok is one of the longest place names in the world. It’s so long that most people just call it Krung Thep, which means “City of Angels.”
    • Thailand has over 35,000 temples, and Buddhism is a very important part of the culture.
    • It’s illegal to drive a car without wearing a shirt in Thailand.
    • The national anthem is played in public places like train stations and parks twice a day at 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. When you hear it, everyone stands still out of respect for the country and its monarch.

I can’t wait to see the amazing things Mori and his team do now that he’s back. This is a big step for the company and for everyone who gets to experience the beauty of Thailand with MoriTour. So happy for you and your team! Wishing you all the best on this new adventure! ❤️🎉✈️ #MoriTourThailand #Thailand #Tourism #Travel #AmazingThailand #LandOfSmiles #ThailandVloggin
