Recently, one of our drivers had the honor of taking a group to Wat Fa Wiang In (วัดฟ้าเวียงอินทร์), located near the Thai–Myanmar border at Chong Khao Lak Taeng, the northernmost point of Thailand’s Mae Hong Son Province.

A Temple Between Two Worlds

Wat Fa Wiang In is more than just a temple — it’s a spiritual landmark surrounded by mountains, mist, and borderland culture. Standing here, you can literally look across into Myanmar, where another temple sits just a few hundred meters away. The peaceful scenery and cool mountain breeze make it a truly special place to visit.

The temple’s architecture combines Thai and Shan (Tai Yai) styles, reflecting the rich cultural blend of this border region. Colorful stupas, golden Buddha statues, and hilltop shrines create an atmosphere of calm and wonder.

จากบริเวณวัดสามารถมองเห็นประเทศเมียนมาได้อย่างชัดเจน
บรรยากาศเย็นสบายและเงียบสงบ เหมาะแก่การพักใจและชื่นชมธรรมชาติ

สถาปัตยกรรมสองวัฒนธรรม

วัดแห่งนี้มีการผสมผสานระหว่างศิลปะ ไทยและไทใหญ่ (Shan)
ทั้งเจดีย์สีทอง พระพุทธรูป และอาคารไม้ ทำให้วัดดูมีเอกลักษณ์และทรงคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรม
