The past two years have been full of surprises, growth, and—most importantly—your incredible support. As 2025 comes to a close, it’s time to look ahead and share with you some exciting plans for 2026.
The coming year will be a special one for MoriTour Thailand. As many of you know, tourism and business in Thailand have been steadily improving since the challenges of COVID-19. In fact, 2025 marked the first year that all of our private vans for guided tours in Thailand were fully booked—a milestone we couldn’t have achieved without you.
Because of this growth, I’ve made an important decision: by December 2026, I will be leaving Switzerland and moving back to Thailand permanently (though I’ll still visit Switzerland occasionally). This change will allow me to dedicate myself fully to MoriTour Thailand, being on the ground to personally guide and support our foreign customers as both a German- and English-speaking tour guide and translator.
With my return to Thailand, MoriTour will be available year-round—not just in the winter months. This means:
- More flexibility for travelers planning their Thailand holidays
- Personalized service with a local German- and English-speaking guide
- Comfortable, fully-booked tour vans with private drivers
- Authentic experiences designed to help you explore Thailand with ease
I am truly excited about this next chapter and grateful to continue this journey together with you. Thank you for being part of the MoriTour family. Here’s to making 2026 a year full of new adventures in Thailand travel!

The decision for the owner to move back to Thailand is a huge step and will definitely provide a more authentic and hands-on experience for customers. Being able to offer tours year-round with a German- and English-speaking guide on the ground is a massive advantage.
