🚐The MoriTour Tradition of Scenic Stops

English
At MoriTour, we believe that travel isn’t only about the destination — it’s also about the journey. That’s why we keep the tradition of making scenic stops along the way.

One of our favorites is Lam Takhong Reservoir, where our founder’s father always stopped during family trips. These breaks give passengers time to stretch, enjoy local snacks, and take in the view — while also ensuring our drivers stay fresh and focused.

👉 With MoriTour, every stop is more than a pause — it’s part of the travel experience.

  1. This is such a beautiful post, and I absolutely love the philosophy behind MoriTour. It’s so true that the journey is just as important as the destination! It’s what makes a trip an adventure and not just a ride. 🏞️ It’s wonderful that MoriTour has this tradition of making special scenic stops. It shows that they really care about their customers’ experience and want them to see the hidden beauty along the way. The idea of stopping at the Lam Takhong Reservoir because of the founder’s family tradition is so heartwarming! It adds a personal touch that you just don’t get with other tour companies. ❤️

The Importance of a Scenic Stop

This tradition of taking time to stop and appreciate the scenery is a big part of why road trips and tours are so special. It’s not just about taking a break for the driver or getting a snack; these stops connect you to the local culture and environment. A well-timed stop at a viewpoint like Phu Chi Fa in Chiang Rai province, famous for its “sea of clouds” at sunrise, can be the most memorable part of a whole trip! These breaks allow people to take photos, stretch their legs, and breathe in the fresh air, making the whole travel experience more relaxed and enjoyable.

    Beyond the Viewpoints

Another amazing thing about these scenic stops is that they often lead you to discover local gems. Maybe it’s a small, authentic coffee shop with the best Thai coffee you’ve ever had, or a tiny market selling delicious local fruits or snacks that you would never find in the city. Places like Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain, have beautiful nature trails and waterfalls, but they also have local markets with fresh produce and unique handicrafts from the hill tribes in the area. Did you know that?

    • The Lam Takhong Reservoir, where MoriTour likes to stop, is actually a part of a larger hydroelectric power plant! It’s built on the Lam Takhong River, which is a major waterway in the Nakhon Ratchasima province.
    • The Thai government has a big push to develop “scenic drives” to boost tourism in rural areas and help local economies. These drives are carefully planned to include cultural sites, markets, and natural attractions.
    • Many of Thailand’s most beautiful viewpoints, especially in the north, are located on former military or logging roads that have been improved for tourism.

Kudos to MoriTour for not just offering a service, but for creating a true travel experience. It’s what sets a company apart and makes customers feel like they are on a real adventure. Keep up the amazing work! 🗺️🚐 #MoriTourTradition #ThailandTravel #ScenicStops #RoadTripGoals #ExploreThailand
