Today, MoriTour Thailand had the pleasure of taking our guests on a beautiful journey from Pattaya to Ayutthaya, one of Thailand’s most important historical cities. It was a day filled with culture, spirituality, and a little touch of mystery.

🛕 First Stop: Wat Mahathat Ayutthaya

Our journey began at the world-famous Wat Mahathat, known for the iconic Buddha head entwined in tree roots. Walking through the ancient ruins allowed our guests to deeply feel the rich history of the old kingdom. Every corner tells a story from centuries ago.

🛕 Second Stop: Wat Na Phra Men

After that, we visited Wat Na Phra Men, one of the few temples that survived Ayutthaya’s destruction in perfect condition. Beautiful architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and an impressive Buddha image made this stop a memorable experience.

🏡 A Unique Stay: Retreat Ayutthaya

We ended our day at Retreat Ayutthaya, a charming riverside resort known for its traditional wooden design and quiet surroundings.

Interestingly, many Thai locals rarely choose to stay here — not because it isn’t beautiful, but because its old, rustic appearance gives it a “spooky” feeling. In Thai culture, old wooden buildings and historical homes are often believed to be haunted, especially if they are surrounded by nature and silence.

For our guests, however, this atmosphere makes the place even more special: peaceful, authentic, and full of character.

Heute durfte MoriTour Thailand unsere Gäste auf eine wundervolle Reise von Pattaya nach Ayutthaya begleiten. Die alte Königsstadt bot uns einen Tag voller Geschichte, Spiritualität und sogar einem Hauch von Mystik.

Unser erster Halt war der berühmte Wat Mahathat, bekannt für den ikonischen Buddha-Kopf im Baumwurzelgeflecht. Beim Spaziergang durch die alten Ruinen konnten unsere Gäste die Geschichte Ayutthayas hautnah spüren.

Anschließend besuchten wir Wat Na Phra Men, einen der wenigen Tempel, die die Zerstörung Ayutthayas unversehrt überstanden haben. Die beeindruckende Architektur und die friedliche Atmosphäre machten diesen Besuch besonders.

🏡 Unser Aufenthalt im Retreat Ayutthaya

Den Abend verbrachten wir im Retreat Ayutthaya, einem wunderschönen Resort direkt am Fluss, das für sein traditionelles Holzdesign bekannt ist.

Interessant ist: Viele Thais übernachten hier eher selten — nicht wegen des Komforts, sondern weil sein altes, ruhiges Erscheinungsbild für viele etwas “spukhaft” wirkt.
In der thailändischen Kultur glaubt man oft, dass alte Häuser oder historische Holzgebäude Geister beherbergen.

Für unsere Gäste macht genau das den besonderen Charme dieses Ortes aus: ruhig, authentisch und voller Charakter.

จากนั้นเราเดินทางต่อไปยัง วัดหน้าพระเมรุ หนึ่งในวัดไม่กี่แห่งที่รอดพ้นจากการถูกเผาทำลาย
ภายในวัดมีความสงบ สวยงาม และมีพระพุทธรูปที่งดงามมาก ทำให้เป็นสถานที่ที่น่าประทับใจ

วันนี้เราพักที่ Retreat Ayutthaya รีสอร์ตไม้โบราณ ริมแม่น้ำ ที่เต็มไปด้วยเสน่ห์แบบไทยดั้งเดิม

ที่น่าสนใจคือ คนไทยหลายคนไม่ค่อยเลือกพักที่นี่ — ไม่ใช่เพราะไม่ดี
